FANUC standardizes and harmonizes access and time recording processes across Europe with jay cloud
Cloud-first strategy: Since 2023, FANUC Europe has been relying on jay cloud to unify and standardize time management, access control, and, in the future, visitor management for all European companies.
The goal was to establish a global, scalable solution that integrates seamlessly into the existing SAP SuccessFactors system landscape and unites different locations on a common platform.
The first step was the introduction of cloud-based organizational access control during ongoing operations. Since then, access authorizations have dynamically followed the respective function within the company – changes in position automatically lead to an immediate adjustment of rights.
Since 2025, digital visitor management has also been in use at the first locations and is to be rolled out further. FANUC relies on the integration of jay cloud and MS365 to minimize manual effort for users and maintain the MS365 user experience.
At the same time, FANUC is rolling out terminal-based time recording at locations that require physical time recording in production-related areas. Thanks to a certified interface to SAP SuccessFactors and multilingual terminal dialogs, time recording is intuitive and efficient.
All modules access a central database and enable cross-location monitoring, reporting, and system monitoring. Standardized templates and a central cloud architecture allow new locations to be connected quickly and consistently avoid isolated solutions.
